DMVSTOP is committed to doing our part to help minimize the impact of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) while at the same time continuing to help our customers complete necessary transactions for their license plates and vehicles.

After Governor Cuomo signed the "New York State on Pause" Executive Order, all NYS Department of Motor Vehicle Offices (DMV) will be closed for walk-in same day service until further notice. Many DMV's across the country have already suspended operations due to the COVID-19 threat. DMVSTOP will also be closing our main offices to flatten the curve and prevent further spread of the Corona Virus.

All of our online services are still available and transactions are being processed for many states across the country. DMV offices in your selected state may remain closed to the public and this will add to processing times.

Lastly, please note that our phone system will remain operational and we ask that you please be patient if we do not answer and we will do our best to get back to you. The best way to reach us is through our online chat option or contact page on our website.
